The order report is a detailed list of material for an order.

Creating the Report

Basic report procedure described in Creating Order Entry Reports.

Create a quick report for the current order by clicking Print on the main Order Entry toolbar.

Order Report Options - General

General options affect the main body of the report.

Summarize Unique Items

Check to accumulate like items and sort the report based on bar diameter, length, straight, and bent (similar to the Bar List Report in aSa ex). Uncheck to list material in the sequence in which it was entered (similar to the Detail Sheet report in aSa ex.)

Show/Include Options

For each of the following, check to show or include the item on the report; uncheck to hide or exclude the item from the report:

  • Shape Pictures
  • Show Order ID
  • Requested Delivery Date
  • Show Signature Line

Use Shading

Check to apply alternate row shading to make data more readable.

Length Unit

Select the unit of measure to use for displaying lengths on the report:

  • Order Default - Use the unit in which the order was entered. 
    or
  • Other valid units defined in Environment > General > Units of Measure > Length. Units marked Standard are available in Order Entry.  

Weight Unit

Select the unit of measure to use for displaying weights on the report:

Order Default - Use the unit in which weights were displayed in Order Entry. 

or

Other valid units as defined in Environment > General > Units of Measure > Weight. Units marked Standard are available in Order Entry.

Order Length

Select the type of length to use for displaying lengths and calculating weights on the report:

  • Order Default - Use the length type that was used when the order was created.
  • Cut - Actual length; bent bars are adjusted for bend curvature deduction.
  • Pay - Length manually entered for billing and display purposes.
  • Theoretical - Length based on out-to-out dimensions of the bar; bent bars are not adjusted for bend curvature deduction.

Weight Precision

Select the number of decimal places in which to round and display weights: 0-4.

Show/Include Options

For each of the following, check to show or include the item on the report; uncheck to hide or exclude the item from the report:

  • Location Address
  • Approval
  • Include Direct Ship
  • Line Detail
  • Shipping Address
  • Detail Weights

Order Report Options - Summary

Summary options apply to summary sections that follow the report body. 

Show/Include Options

For each of the following, check to show or include the item on the report; uncheck to hide or exclude the item from the report:

  • Weight Summary
  • Spiral Summary
  • End Prep Summary
  • Miscellaneous Product Summary
  • Page Break Weight Summary - click to start the summary on its own new page
  • Page Break End Prep Summary - click to start the summary on its own new page
  • Page Break Length Summary - click to start the summary on its own new page

Order Report Options - Comments

Comment options apply to comments on the report. 

Show/Include Options

For each of the following, check to show or include the item on the report; uncheck to hide or exclude the item from the report:

  • Cover Page Comments
  • Top Comments
  • Bottom Comments

Order Report Options - Logo

To add a logo to the report:

  1. Click Select Image.
  2. Click Catalog.
  3. Select the Logo to include on the report.
  4. Click OK.

HINT: Images are saved to the catalog from Common > Reports > Tools > Report Images.
