aSa.Studio v25.4 is scheduled for release late 2025/early 2026


General

  • Document Management - You can now upload files into your aSa database and save them with relevant records. For example, upload and save job specifications, CAD drawings, jobsite photos, and job-related reports with a Job record; or, upload and save photos, supporting documents, and order-related reports with an Order record. 
  • End Prep Pricing - You can now apply pricing to end prep products and service. End preps set up in for the estimate can be priced in Project Pricing, and pricing flows to downstream applications. 
  • Price Book - You can now generate a product price list for your customers based on system values. The new report is available from the Business Partner and Pricing modules.  

API & Integration

  • You can now generate a purchase order in Business Central automatically based on aSa data and trigger events. 

Inventory Management

  • You can now receive material by importing an ASN (Australian Steel Institute) format file. 
  • Automatically create a purchase order in Business Central based on aSa.Studio triggers and data.

Order Entry

  • Graphic Cage Designer - Develop bars by graphically drawing a cage in Order Entry. The bars then load into the Order grid. Downstream, Processing produces component tags for all bars; a tag for the assembled cage; and a special report with the cage design and dimensions. 
  • You can now the set a default end prep code based on the bar diameter. 
  • The system can now stop or warn you If you try to save an order containing items with no pricing. The same validations occur when you import orders from RDX. 
  • A new option allows you to force all PO numbers entered for your orders to be unique within the job. 

Processing

  • You can now easily reprint on-demand tags in the shop. 

Product 

  • Flexible Kit Pricing - A new option lets you develop pricing for kits based on:
    • Unit - price the kit as a whole (this functionality has existed)
    • Weight - price the kit based on the total weight of its components
    • Components - price each component individually
  • You can set up product pricing based on a date range; a new report lets you see pricing that expires on a given date.

Scheduling

  • You can now set up a business partner with the type: Carrier. In Load Building, you can associate a carrier to a load. 

Shape Designer

  • You can now add diagonal witness lines to a 3D shape. 

Tracking

  • Based on your shop practices, an on-screen safety check list may be presented to operators before login is permitted on tracking machinery.
