Jim Leib

1941-2021

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Jim Leib, the founder of aSa, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

Jim founded aSa in 1969, along with Elliot Greenman and Alan Colker. Jim served as the company's president for more than 25 years. He considered our staff and customers to be like family.

Jim remained active in the company throughout the years and literally worked until the last day of his life. We are grateful for Jim’s insight and vision – and are working hard to carry on his legacy.

As a small way to remember Jim, aSa software will no longer assign the control code JSL. If you manually enter JSL, a message displays: JSL reserved in memory of James S. Leib.
