aSa.Studio v26.3 is scheduled for release in Q3/Q4 2026

General Enhancements

• New AI-enabled chatbot assistant helps you find answers to how-to, release notes, and related questions. 

• Enhanced the system to handle multiple work shifts. 

• Type-ahead: If your entry is an exact match for a portion of the record ID, it will now appear at the top of the type-ahead list. 
• You can now export aSa.Studio information to DOS format. This is helpful for companies that use third-party software versions that do not support the RDX format. 

Accounts Payable (new module!)

• Manage payments to your vendors. Handle vouchers and disbursements. 

Accounts Receivable

• The system now handles tax on cost (commonly used for placing projects) and tax on sales jobs. 

Alerts

• You can now send aSa.Studio alerts to "external" contacts, such as your customers, engineers, and other stakeholders. To comply with spam regulations, unsubscribe options are provided. 

Environment

• When you set up a bending machine, you can now specify the units for displayed pin sizes (such as cm vs mm).
• Hook length editors now support ACI38-19. 
• You can now define unlimited fabricating classes for estimating and pricing your projects. 

Inventory Transactions

• Receipts are now locked to prevent two users from overwriting each others' changes. An Unlock Receipts tool is also available. 

Invoice

• A new option lets you print the Progress Billing Detail report in portrait format. 
• You can now customize columns in the Generate Invoice screen. 

Order Entry

• When you import an order from Excel, and some lines encounter errors, you now have the option to import the rest of order's valid lines. 

Processing

• Reserved stock now includes stock length items that are part of a processing run, regardless of whether they are provided as stock or cut as part of optimization.

Project Pricing

• The system can now generate a Change Order Acknowledgment form to send to a customer. Like the Job Proposal Wizard, the CO Acknowledgment can be populated with details from your database. 

Purchase Order

• Previously part of Inventory Management, the Purchase Order module now appears as its own menu item. 

Reports

• Added new report note type: Sales Order Terms & Conditions. 

Scheduling

• Added a new Load Description free-form field. When used, you can display it on Load cards in Scheduling, on the Mobile tracker, and on the TouchTracker. 

Shape

• You can now create a "free form shape." These shapes are for special circumstances where you a) want to include a picture b) don't need the shape drawn to scale and c) don't want the system to validate dimensions. A scenario would be an engineer creates a shape that must be used, but the provided shape violates mathematical rules for slope, radius, and other geometry. 

Shipping Ticket

• When you print a shipping ticket, you now have the option to print order reports for all orders associated to that shipping ticket. 
• A new Environment option allows you to create a Shipping Ticket for an active load; previously, you had to scan all tags as loaded before creating the shipping ticket. 
• You can now email shipping tickets to your customers automatically from the Shipping Ticket screen. 

System Manager

• You can now set a user's default language. 

Tracking

• You can now track the process for coating an entire coil.
• You now have the option to use a single bin tag to identify non-tagged non-rebar stock material rather than printing a tag for each product. 
• When you are selecting a trailer for loading, you can now filter the list to show all trailers, trailers with active loads, and trailers without active loads.
