General Enhancements

• Correspondence Log – Record notes associated to a customer, job, or other record. Reply to other employees’ notes. See the entire text thread on a single screen. 
• Notes and messages from aSa – Essential updates, security notices, and other notifications from aSa may display at the top of your aSa.Studio screen. 
• When you import items with end prep codes, and the codes are set up to include an end prep product, the products are now automatically associated to the lines during import. Previously, you had to add the products as a separate step. 
• You can now easily apply a labor price for adding an end preparation to a bar. Changes affect Estimating, Project Pricing, Order, Shipping Ticket, and Invoice.
• You can now group data by computed fields in a dashboard. 
• Added flexibility for pricing end preps and related labor. 
• Added new options for sending drawing PDFs with a Transmittal letter. 
• The system now handles pricing by linear meter.
• Improved natural language functionality of AI Assistants (chatbots). 

Alerts

• The Alerts Group editor now includes a tab for Roles. Set users to receive alerts based on their roles.

Document Management

• When you print the following forms/reports, you can now automatically save a PDF copy to aSa.Studio Document Management: Order Report, Sales Order, Shipping Ticket, and Invoice.

Estimating

• You can now include custom fields on the Estimate report cover page.  
• Find/Replace options now include Fab Class.

Inventory Management

• Receipt Summary screen – See an overview of bundles, pieces, and weight for each product in the receipt. 
• The system now stores localized product descriptions when you received products by scanning inventory tags. 
• When you receive material and begin using it, then later post the receipt, the system now prompts you to “Review and (automatically) post” any unposted transactions associated with the material. 
• Manage and record lot numbers for received material.

Invoice

• Use escalation with progress billings. 
• Group line items by element on the invoice form.

Order Entry

• Create a Transfer Order Request. This initiates a material shipment and transfer from another location within your enterprise.

Processing

• Mesh optimization - Convert customer mesh requirements into optimized production plans for mesh welding and cutting machines.
• Define Safe Working Boundaries (SWB) for certain cutter-bender equipment that includes a trap extension unit. 
• You can now create a printable barcode report to automate Schnell Barwiser equipment.  
• Lite Manufacturing Phase I – Manage post-tension cable extrusion. The system uses scans to trace all raw materials (grease, resin, colorant, and cable) as well as the final product. 

Scheduling 

• Set trailer dimension constraints at the job level; Scheduling will validate that the selected trailer is acceptable for each job. 
• Quickly apply various filters to the Load Inquiry screen. 

Shipping Ticket

• You can now reverse a shipping ticket. This resets the shipping ticket’s status and reverses any corresponding inventory transactions. 
• You can now edit custom fields on a posted shipping ticket.

Tracking

• Manually assign a heat number to an already-scanned tag; the system validates that material characteristics match.  
• You can now enter exact coil lengths on the TouchTracker when used for drawn wire processes.
• Streamlined the process for validating end preparation for bars marked as stock items.
