All fields in in the Vary section are display-only based on your item and Vary Bar Calculator entries. Refer to Entering Varying Bars for illustrations, examples, and additional details.

Vary Weight

Total weight of all items in the varying set.

Vary Quantity

Number of bars in the varying set.

Vary Code

Indicates how varying bars appear on the Order report and how tags are generated for these bars:

  • Same - Itemize varying lengths on the Order report. Create a separate tag for each unique length. Use the same bar mark for all members of the set. This is the standard default for straight varying sets.
  • Auto Mark - Itemize varying lengths on the Order report. Create a separate tag for each length. Automatically generate a unique, sequential bar mark for each member of the set. This is the standard defaults for bent varying sets.
  • Group - Group varying sets on the Order report. Create a single tag for the varying set.
  • Calculate - Each member of the varying set is calculated, but when you add the items to the order, they are treated as individual bars. They are not grouped together as a set on the Detail report. Bars from the set may be combined with other like bars on the order.

Vary Number Each

The number of bars at each specific length in the varying set.

Increment

The length by which two consecutive bars in the varying set differ.
